One of the biggest hurdles to surviving the holidays is to manage expectations – YOUR OWN!
I haven’t survived 58 years of life, living in five states, being married for 37 years without a few heartaches. Work parties, family gatherings, friends that want to get together lead to a lot of chaos. Throw in your significant other and kids, what do you expect to happen?
I’ve always been a planner. I love checklists, managing my time and trying my best to make things go smoothly. Naturally, there are always things that come up. In the end, surviving the holidays is a combination of organization, communication and being clear on what YOU want.
I have had many friends asking me how I get it done and make it look so effortless. It isn’t, but it helps to start with owning MY expectations. To help you and provide a few extra tools that may help, I’ve created my second eBook, A Guide to Surviving the Holidays!
You can download your copy for FREE before 12/31/2023.
After you've completed the workbook, if you still need to chat for more guidance when it comes to expectations, YOUR OWN and those of family, friends, work and society, you can set up a complimentary Discovery Call with me joyfulpurposeyogi@gmail.com. It's time to embrace the YOU you've always wanted to be, find what brings you joy and live life out loud!
When we can make our expectations more fluid, we have the freedom to live in the present moment and enjoy it. Being honest with yourself about what you really want will allow you to make choices that can lead to a happy, rewarding life, especially this time of the year!
In the workbook I mention my Friendsgiving Brunch post, complete with recipes and a downloadable checklist and grocery list. Simply click on this link to go there! There is even a link to creating holiday decorations blending the old with the new!
