When I was trying to decide the order of my blog posts about Blogfest and Idea World, I struggled with what to do first. There were so many great things about the event that I wanted people out there in the blogisfere to know about how was I going to keep it to just one post? Well, obviously I couldn’t (insert happy face).
One theme seemed to resonate throughout the events. Tribe. Community. Be You. Be Authentic. This came through in the speakers, the fitness and the overall feel at the event. It didn’t matter your size, your age, your race or your gender. We were all there to embrace the inner and outer you. To enhance ourselves and those around us. Bloggers, fitness instructors, internet sensations and were all represented.
I can’t really do justice to all the information that was shared with us. Here are my favorite tidbits. Click on the speaker to learn even more!

BE YOU
If you don’t know this about me, I love taking photos. I can’t express completely in words, the feeling of being included in this amazing group. They are my tribe. They are composed of bloggers, influencers, entrepreneurs. We laugh, we hug, we share. You can be loud or you can be quiet. You can be just starting out or be in the industry for 25 years. Still learning how to capture your content or that perfect workout routine? No worries, you have a tribe that will encourage, support and guide you along the way.
Competition goes out the window in favor of community. Visiting a new area? Ask your tribe members and they will probably join you.
While at Blogfest, I met women I had been following on IG, to find that they were as real and genuine as their posts. It reminded me that we are all on this journey together. We could tear each other apart or we could lift one another up.
I’m all for inspiring and empowering the people around me. I will let my photos finish this story, because how do you really describe these fantastic days? With joy, smiles, laughter and community.
